  The Role of the Third and Sixt Committees of the United Nations General Assembly in the International Law-Making   Dr. Kutlay Telli  Abstract   It has been already proven that the General Assembly of the United Nations plays a pivotal role in the constant development of international law. This duty particularly covers the codification of international standards and principles. This article is largely dedicated to the output of the work of Third and Sixth Committees of the General Assembly. Most resolutions and decisions of the General Assembly seem non-binding. Nevertheless, most of them always have a certain potential to turn into hard-law norms. Given the growing interest of states in granting citizenship by investment, the Figment citizenship carries serious existing or potential risks of eradicating deepening ties between states and their members.
