The global community struggles with handling security handicaps about cyberattacks. Turkey is regarded as very weak because of regulatory and institutional gaps in relation to cybersecurity. The proliferation of IT and FinTech-led tools for all sectors cause additional troubles and concerns in the field of cybersecurity. However, considering emerging threats and upcoming challenges, the Turkish Government has taken a huge step in drafting an institutional framework to combat cyberthreats.
