An Overview of the JAMS International Arbitration Mechanism
I. Introduction
The development of peaceful
settlement of disputes has been a matter of discussion over the years. There
has been a growing interest in instituting amicable resolution mechanisms
across the globe.[1] In
terms of terminology, the term “Alternative Dispute Resolution [ADR]”[2] will be used to refer to any means including arbitration and
mediation dedicated to settling disputes without any trial and outside the
courtrooms.
