International Protection Status of Foreigners
Dr. Kutlay Telli Foreigners face underlying challenges because of living and working conditions. Particularly, complicated administrative procedures are carried out for the acquisition of a visa, residence or work permits. Moreover, there are specific regulations dedicated to protecting aliens who do not have any conditions for such permits. The main intention of my article is to evaluate the implementation of the Turkish legal framework on international protection status of foreigners. In doing so, the available research will not ignore further assessments about globally recognized principles enumerated in the United Nations instruments.
